Kel Cork has been penning his songs of love gained , love lost, and the ironies of life's journey for as long as he can remember. Recording of the self-titled debut album began in 2003, it was released in 2005, and was well received by local community radio stations. Back in the studio in 2006, the guys spent the next few years recording more of their original songs at various studios, including Kevin Borich's 'Vibrating House', Allan Pease 'Heliport Studios', and the Byron Bay 301 SAE facility. The album 'One more Shot' was consequently released in June 2010. Daryl Kirkup of Capital News had this to say about the album... "13 beautifully written songs by lead vocalist KELLY CORK backed up by fine production combine to make One More Shot one of the stand out releases of the year so far. ...The Rain always deliver fine live performances and with this album, they deliver a release that deserves the right to be in every country music fan’s collection."
